Endocannabinoid System Found in 1964

Raphael Mechoulam, has been a pioneer in cannabis research.  He is an organic chemist and professor at Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel.  He discovered the human endocannabinoid system in 1964. Israel is home to premier medical cannabis research facilities in the world that has been in development for more than 50 years.

Dr. Adi Eran, head of the pediatric neurology department at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.  This cutting edge scientist is working with full support of his government to host the first-ever formal clinical trial of medicinal cannabis with autistic children and adults.  U.S. firms have invested about $50 million in licensing patents, cannabis agro-tech startups and firms with entire industries to support population growth such as: lumber, bio-fuel, medicines and delivery systems, textiles, and nutrition to solve problems.

2013 saw listings in our nations Nasdaq, where it raised nearly $500 million from U.S. investors.   In the United States, where the legal marijuana market is valued at $5.7 billion and expected to grow to $23 billion by 2020.
